Italy’s Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) announced that it has continued to block access from Italian territory to 4 more unauthorized investment websites. They include: btccapitalgroup.com of BTC Capital Group, europemarket.io of EZ2GO Ltd, ikon-cfd.com of IKON CFD, and trezocapital.co of Trezocapital.
CONSOB has the right to order Internet service providers (ISPs) to deny access from Italy to websites offering financial services without proper authorization. Thus, the number of websites blocked by CONSOB since July 2019 has expanded to 886. Most of these websites offer CFD trading on currency pairs and cryptocurrencies.
