Italy’s Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) announced that it has continued to block access from Italian territory to four more unauthorized and potentially Fraudulent investment websites. They include: activ4x.com of Activ4X, goldydeal.com of Goldy Deal, virtufinancial.eu of VirtuFinance, and xtbempire.com of XTB Empire Ltd.
CONSOB has the power to order Internet service providers (ISPs) to deny access from Italy to websites offering financial services without proper authorization. Thus, the number of websites blocked by CONSOB since July 2019 has expanded to 890. Most of these websites offer CFD trading on currency pairs and cryptocurrencies.
