CMS Prime – what we know and have as facts about it; CMS Prime is a brand of Capital Market Solutions Inc, which is licensed and regulated by the FSA in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines under license number 24495 IBC 2018. It is also registered and regulated by the VFSC under license number 40437. These licenses allow it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.
In the Terms and Conditions document, we found that CMS Prime may execute orders either as principal or broker. As a broker, CMS Prime will execute a transaction like a customer with another market participant in the financial market. As principal, CMS Prime may hold the opposing transaction. As a result of acting as principal customer should realize that CMS Prime may be acting as its counterparty. Therefore, the company may act as a market maker whenever it chooses. This creates a conflict of interest because any loss of customers is its profit.
