CMG – what we know and have as facts about it; CMG is a trading name of AxiTrader Limited, which is incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This means that this company is not licensed and regulated by any major financial authority.
In the Financial Services Guide document, we found that CMG is a market maker, not an agent, when dealing in its financial products, which are off-market over-the counter (“OTC”) derivatives. CMG acts as principal in all transactions with you in respect of these financial products. It is stated: ‘ We act as market maker and this may result in a conflict between the interests of CMG and those of our clients.” In general, dealing with market makers involves a conflict of interest because they do not transmit every customer deal and hope that customers will lose. Every loss of customers is their profit.
