TradeApp – what we know and have as facts about it; TradeApp is a registered trademark used as a brand name of Depaho Ltd, which is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under license number 161/11. In addition, the company is authorized by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in South Africa with license number 47709. These licenses allow it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.
In the Terms and Conditions document, we found that the company acts as a principal counterparty to all client trades, or it acts as a market maker. The Execution Venue is either the company acting as a counterparty of the client, or the third party Naxex Belize Limited, an investment firm licensed and regulated by the Belize International Financial Services Commission (the sole liquidity provider). In general, dealing with market makers involves a conflict of interest because they do not transmit every customer deal and hope that customers will lose. Every loss of customers is their profit.
