XTrend – what we know and have as facts about it; XTrend is a brand name of Rynat Trading Ltd, which is authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under the license number 303/16. This license allows it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.
We have found in the Client Agreement document that the company acts as principal and not as agent on the client’s behalf for all trades and, therefore, is the only execution venue of the clients’ orders. All orders and trades entered through the company’s trading platforms are NOT executed on a Trading Venue (Regulated Market, Multilateral Trading Facility or on an Organized Trading Facility) but they are executed by Rynat Trading Ltd. It is likely the company to make a financial gain, or avoid a financial loss, at the expense of the client; This means the company is a market maker. In general, dealing with market makers involves a conflict of interest because they do not transmit every customer deal and hope that customers will lose. Every loss of customers is their profit.
