Italy’s Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) announced that it has continued to block access from Italian territory to 5 more unauthorized investment websites. These include: afexmarket.com of Afex Market; alphascrypto.com of Alphascrypto; cryptonoid.co of Cryptonoid Ltd; globalnews.icu of Global News and tradeontop.com of Tradeontop Limited.
CONSOB has the right to order Internet service providers (ISPs) to deny access from Italy to websites offering financial services without proper authorization. Thus, the number of websites blocked by CONSOB since July 2019 has expanded to 950. Most of these websites offer CFD trading on currency pairs and cryptocurrencies.
