Z.com Global Markets – scammers or a decent broker?

Z.com Global Markets – what we know and have as facts about it; Z.com Global Markets is part of the GMO Internet Group, and specializes in offering best-in-class liquidity and technology solutions. GMO-Z.com Trade UK Limited is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom under reference number 622897. This license allows it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.

We have found in the Order Execution Policy document that Z.com Global Markets is the counterparty to all of client trades, executing their orders as principal and not as an agent on client’s behalf. Z.com Global Markets executes client orders by placing a Back to Back order, exclusively and without exception, on an execution venue. When the company’s Back to Back order is matched or otherwise executed, it will open or close a trade on a client account of the same size. Z.com Global Markets operates a matched principal, back-to-back execution model and therefore instantaneously hedges each one of the client trades with a liquidity provider. This means that it does not trade against its customers’ positions and only earns money from the spread provided and commissions. Therefore, there is no conflict of interest between the parties.

So far, we have not received any complaints from customers of Z.com Global Markets.
