We have found in the Best Execution Policy file that the company executes client’s orders directly with an approved counterparty – the trading venue. Therefore, Basis Capital Markets acts as agent on behalf of the user and executes a corresponding transaction with a third party. This means that the company is a pure Straight Through Processing (STP) broker, which benefits only from the offered spread and traded volume, regardless of whether customers win or lose. The STP model assumes that there is no conflict of interest between the client and the intermediary company.
