Investous – what we know and have as facts about it; This is a brand name of F1Markets Limited, which is based in Limassol, Cyprus and is authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under license number 267/15. In addition, IOS Investments Limited belongs to the same group of Companies that share the “Investous” brand. IOS Investments Limited is regulated by the International Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Belize with license number 000349/122. These licenses allow it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.
We have found in the Order Execution Policy document that Investous does not execute the client order in CFDs as a principal to principal against the client, i.e. the company is not the Execution Venue. The Company arranges for the execution of client orders with the Execution Venue. This transmission of client orders or arrangement for their execution with third parties (liquidity providers) is known as a Straight Through Processing (STP) model for order fulfillment. The Execution Venue currently used by the Company is OBR Investments Limited only. Investous receives monthly commissions from the liquidity provider calculated as a percentage of the volume of orders sent for execution every month. This means that there is no conflict of interest between the parties.
We also found that there are some posts in forums about poor or lack of customer support, withdrawal issues, extremely high withdrawal fees and aggressive calls for more deposits.
