OxleyFX – what we know and have as facts about it; This is a trade name of Oxley Markets Limited, which is authorized and regulated by the VFSC under register number 40528. This license allows it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.
We have found in the Terms of Use document that Oxley Markets Limited may transfer part or the whole amount received by clients to one or more of the company’s liquidity providers or prime brokers in order to execute and settle the orders that clients will pass through the trading platform to enter into transactions. It is not stated clearly but OxleyFX may not transmit each order to its liquidity providers and keep the risk for itself, acting as a market maker. In general, dealing with market makers involves a conflict of interest because they do not transmit every customer deal and hope that customers will lose. Every loss of customers is their profit.
