ColmexPro – what we know and have as facts about it; This is a trade name of Colmex Pro Ltd, which is headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus and is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under license number 123/10. In addition, Colmex Pro Ltd is authorized as a Financial Services Provider with licensing number 46990 by the Financial Services Board in South Africa. These licenses allow it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.
We have found in the Order Execution Policy document that ColmexPro is the counterparty to all transactions and it will act as principal. It is also written that the company acts as a market maker. In general, dealing with market makers involves a conflict of interest because they do not transmit every customer deal and hope that customers will lose. Every loss of customers is their profit.
We also found that there are some posts in forums about poor customer support, aggressive phone calls, high inactivity fees, unreasonable blocking of accounts and problems with withdrawals.
