FINRA Fines Alexander Investment Services for Alleged Violations

Alexander Investment Services Co. has agreed to a $25,000 fine as part of a settlement with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for failing to establish and maintain written policies and procedures. Despite referencing an obligation to act in customers’ best interests, the firm’s policies lacked specific provisions, including addressing conflicts of interest, and its updated procedures from March 11, 2024.
