The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has announced that the Florida District Court has ordered Daniel Fingerhut, a resident of Miami, Florida, and Itay Barak, Tal Valariola and Digital Platinum Limited (DPL) of Israel to pay USD7 million for their participation in a fraudulent scheme with binary options.
The defendants are accused of fraudulently attracting “tens of millions of customers” and prospects for opening and financing binary options and cryptocurrency accounts that have been managed through unregistered brokers.
