Quant Services – what we know and have as facts about it; This is a trade name of Quant Services Ltd, which is authorized and regulated by the VFSC under register number 40095. This license allows it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.
We have found in the Order Execution Policy document that Quant Services acts as a principal when executing transactions for the clients. The client’s orders may at the discretion of Quant Services Ltd be aggregated/split with Quant Services Ltd own orders, orders of any of Quant Services Ltd associates and/or other clients. This means that Quant Services acts as a market maker. In general, dealing with market makers involves a conflict of interest because they do not transmit every customer deal and hope that customers will lose. Every loss of customers is their profit.
We also found that there are some posts in the forums about posting fake positive reviews, non-fulfillment of stop loss orders and withdrawal issues.
So far, we have not received any complaints from customers of Quant Services.
