Dutch Antitrust Authority Investigates whether Apple Has already Complied with its Order

The Dutch antitrust authority said it was examining whether a new round of changes announced by Apple in the terms and conditions of the App Store in the Netherlands would bring it into compliance with national law. The Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) has imposed weekly fines of EUR 5 million on Apple since January 24, saying the company failed to open its app store to allow dating app providers in the Netherlands to use alternative payment methods.
