Alpari International – scammers or a decent broker?

A

Alpari International – what we know and have as facts about it; This is a trade name of Exinity Limited, which is licensed by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in the Republic of Mauritius with license number C113012295. This license allows it to conduct various financial services, including receiving, transmitting, and executing customer orders.

We have found in the Client Agreement document that in relation to any transaction, the company acts as a principal for any duly regulated counterparty, according to applicable legislation. Alpari acts as a market maker and there are some conflicts of interest such as matching the client’s transaction with that or another client, or dealing in the respective instrument as principal for the company’s own account by selling to or buying the instrument from the client. In general, dealing with market makers involves a conflict of interest because they do not transmit every customer deal and hope that customers will lose. Every loss of customers is their profit.

We also found that there are some posts in the forums about withdrawal issues, extremely wide spreads, and unjustified closing of orders. Russia’s central bank announced last year that it had revoked Alpari’s license for breaches of banking regulations. The company had to return the money to its customers. The company also did not comply with the requirements of the regulator, violating the procedure for maintaining internal accounting by providing false accounting data.

So far, we have not received any complaints from customers of Alpari International.
